Designing, istallation & Commisioning of HVAC Systems
HVAC systems and temperature control strategies have been getting increasingly complex and difficult to implement. Verification has also become more complex. System design engineers, refer ISHRAE strategies.
Heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC systems) account for 39% of the energy used in commercial buildings in the Countries. Consequently, almost any business or government agency has the potential to realize significant savings by improving its control of HVAC operations and improving the efficiency of the system it uses.
Initial commissioning, occurs during the production of a new building or on a new HVAC system within an existing building. The second type, retro-commissioning, improve and document the performance of the existing HVAC systems.
- Discussing breakdown factors for centralised building chillers, boilers and other equipment and ensuring regular inspection, testing and maintenance of dampers to optimise energy use
- Using results of the breakdown factors to design an efficient HVAC system allowing for its expansion by overcoming space restraints and allocating budgets for preventive maintenance
- Using a step-by-step HVAC commissioning procedure to manage critical equipment shutdowns.
